Slip and Fall

Settlement for a slip and fall case against an apartment complex. Our client slipped and fell on a poorly maintained bathroom in the pool area at her apartment complex. Liability was denied, and then $40,000 was offered to settle the claim. However, our client’s injuries were far too severe at that point. She underwent three shoulder surgeries, during one of the operations she got infected with a deadly bacteria (MRSA) resulting in a life-changing reconstructive operation. The structure of her shoulder had to be reversed, and the mobility of her arm is forever limited to just a small degree.
